anyone here in long island, new york who can spare a few mins by helping me diagnose my engine noise? Sounds too loud to be the lifters, but it doesn't sound as heavy as rod knock. It's now constant from engine start to operation. Just don't want to drive long distance in its condition. So if you're nearby syosset-plainview-hicksville area, and willing to help, please email me. Thanks. On a side note, is it more cost effective to have the engine rebuilt, or just swap it out for used? Approx how much are we looking at to fix? As much as i love the z, I don't know if its worth the cost to fix up a 20+ yr old NA. And of course a TT conversion sounds great, until you add up the cost and realize its better spent on getting a newer car, with fewer problems. Damn...
